From Corporate Law to True Love

In 2008, I started blogging about dating. I’d had a lot of ups and downs on my own dating journey and wanted to share what I’d learned. As it turned out, I loved giving advice that helped people avoid getting stuck in painful patterns and navigate dating with more confidence and ease.

At the time, I was a corporate lawyer and blogging was just a hobby. Fast forward to 2013, when I discovered matchmaking as a serious profession. I went to matchmaking school (yes, that’s a thing!) and received my certification from the Global Love Institute. I began my own matchmaking business and became the lead matchmaker for The Paul C. Brunson Agency.

Seeing the Bigger Picture

Giving dating advice is one thing, being responsible for introducing people to their ideal partners is a whole other level of responsibility. As a matchmaker, it became clear that what made us successful with one client versus another was a lot deeper than what met the eye.

And I wanted to know why. Not only why, but how to communicate effectively to people the inner and outer change necessary for them to have the love they wanted. I became obsessed with the bigger picture, which led me to dig into the deeper factors at play. I came to discover that how people felt about themselves, their expectations of love itself, and their personal love beliefs had more to do with their ability to get into healthy, lasting relationships than anything else.

Becoming a Thought Partner and Leader

For my clients, I am a thought partner and coach. I work with people and organizations that want better relationships with themselves and others. My approach is holistic and goes beyond superficial tactics. Over the last 12 years, I have developed my thought leadership through writing about love for multiple platforms, including The Huffington Post and Forbes. In 2023 I gave a TED talk about my vision of a world where everyone has true love. Through my podcast, Dear Franny, speaking on global stages and working with hundreds of clients, I’ve had the privilege of learning from the love journeys of thousands of people.
