Falling In Love vs. Winning The Lottery

Did you know that 70% of lottery winners go broke within 5 years of winning? How is that even possible? If I won the lottery, I’d be set for life! is the typical response upon hearing stories of “unlucky” lottery winners.

It’s easy to judge those people, but in my experience we have more in common that not.  Lottery winners obviously want money, but many are clearly unprepared to keep that money. And love works the same way.

As you’ve undoubtedly noticed, the desire for lasting romantic love is as universal a human experience as any.

Believe me–there are many people in this world who would be happy to love you forever. Occasionally you meet one of them. How occasionally, as well as the quality and success of your relationship is going to largely come down to 3 factors:

#1 Your love mindset–how you think about and approach romantic relationships.
#2 Your love heartset–your belief in your own worthiness of love and your ability to give and receive the love you want.
#3 Your love skillset–your dating and relationship know-how.

The good news is you don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be an expert dater or an expert in relationships with zero issues to have true love. (Thank goodness! Then it really would be hopeless.) But when you are ready to stop simply wishing for a “jackpot” win in love, please know that you have the power within you to make your own luck in love.
